Weather

In general the Netherlands has a maritime climate of cool winters and mild summers. Wind and rain are year-round factors; March is the driest month, July and August the wettest (and hottest), and wind invariably comes from the southwest, although it always seems to be head-on when you’re cycling. Be prepared for blustery and changeable weather.

In June and July the average minimum temperature lies around 12°C and the average maximum temperature around 20°C. The average of rainfall is around 70 – 100 mm per month.
